HON. OMIYALE'S EID-EL FITRI MESSAGE

Some days leading to the round-off of the holy month of Ramadan, series of visitations by various bodies like the Council of Baales, Market women, Union of Transporters, Different religious bodies, Artisans e.t.c were made to the campaign office of the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yaba LCDA.

In some of his words, Hon. Kayode Omiyale said; "as we celebrate the end of Ramadan, I rejoice with the entire Muslim Ummah. Especially my Muslim Brothers and Sisters in Yaba LCDA.

For about 30 days, you all have displayed the spirit of sacrifice, perseverance and tolerance. In affirmation of these values, I, Hon. Kayode Omiyale alongside my amiable running mate, Hon. Bola Aileru urge you all to remain committed as we work together harmoniously to build a better society.

All in all, may the divine blessings embedded in the holy month be a point of contact for our greatness and happiness (Amen).

My Opinion as regards the upcoming Local Government Election I welcome you once again to another sensitive period in our environment. I believe you are set and ready to elect your candidates to their various positions of power but before you dash out on D-day kindly take your time to reflect on this article. I think this is a time for us to engage in a self cum societal reflection and evaluation of the current state of each wards under the control of an elected Chairman and Councillor respectively. -What development have you witnessed in your environment in the past 8 years. - How many youths of your wards are gainfully employed by the local Government Area? - Is the so called councillor transparent or when last did he/she update/ report to you about his stewardship?
