IYANIWURA; an all women non-profit foundation with an headquarter in Makoko area of Yaba, Lagos recently launched another branch of the foundation in Igbo Elerin community in Iyana-Iba area of Lagos. Some days leading to the round-off of the holy month of Ramadan, series of visitations by various bodies like the Council of Baales, Market women, Union of Transporters, Different religious bodies, Artisans e.t.c were made to the campaign office of the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yaba LCDA. In some of his words, Hon. Kayode Omiyale said;  "as we celebrate the end of Ramadan, I rejoice with the entire Muslim Ummah. Especially my Muslim Brothers and Sisters in Yaba LCDA. For about 30 days, you all have displayed the spirit of sacrifice, perseverance and tolerance. In affirmation of these values, I, Hon. Kayode Omiyale alongside my amiable running mate, Hon. Bola Aileru urge you all to remain committed as we work together harmoniously to build a better society. All in all, may the divine blessings embedded in the holy month be a point of contact for our greatness and happiness (Amen). Happy Eid-el Fitri".

Saheed Abiodun Anifowose (who once served as a councillor in the Makoko area of Yaba, Lagos) alongside his siblings is to keep alive the memory of their late mum, Late Alhaja Muibat Ajoke Olaiya (a.k.a. AŞEJERE) - the former Iyaloja General for Yaba LCDA, who until her demise was a successful entrepreneur, a strong politician, a market leader and devouted muslimah who contributed immensely towards the growth of Islam. Biyi Samuel, the C.E.O./Band Leader of BIYI SAMUEL & JUNE-20 CREW who got his inspirations from the likes of the greats like Tunji Oyelana, Blackman Akeeb Kareem, Ebenezer Obey, Lucky Dube, R. Kelly e.t.c it was that wrote/performed a popular sold-out song 'Igi Aruwe' as a sound track to a movie by Fęmi Fadeyi. Has since moved on to churn out other great musical projects like; Papa's Promise (our Publisher's favourite), others are Ori Mi, Finally, Adura et al. Keep on soaring Akanni Al'oyinl'ohun.
