Yaba LCDA in partnership with Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has graduated 200 women in Yaba community. The women were trained in various skills for one month. The skills include; hairdressing, catering services, event decoration, tie & dye, makeup/gele tying, pomade and soap making. The women, after the training were empowered with equipments to start-up the trade. The Chairman of Yaba LCDA congratulated the graduants and encouraged them not to sell the equipments given to them. He advised them to make this a starting point and grow more in the business. The Lagos State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation ably represented by the Permanent secretary, Mrs Abiola Liadi also encouraged them to make good use of the knowledge they acquired within the past one month. She wished them the best in their various trades.
